International Awards

International Spirit Award – awarded to Scouts and Scouters who seek to broaden their knowledge of International Scouting and increase awareness and appreciation for other cultures and countries. There are program specific requirements for Cubs, Boy Scouts/Venturers and Adult Leaders. 

International Scouter’s Award – encourages Scouters to broaden their involvement in Scouting through participation in World Scouting activities and recognizes Scouters for their contributions to World Scouting. 

Interpreter Strips – worn by Scouts and Scouts proficient in a foreign language or sign language by demonstrating the ability to carry on a conversation, write a letter (except for sign language) and translate both orally and in writing from one language to another.

World Conservation Award – presented to Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts or Venture Scouts who complete program specific requirements related to world environmental topics.

Messengers of Peace Award – this ring patch is earned by those who plan and participate in a Messengers of Peace service project.

All Eagle Scout projects qualify as Messengers of Peace Projects.
