NRA Muzzleloading Rifle Instructor Workshop

Brief Description:

This is a BSA-specific course intended for leaders interested in teaching scouts the basics of shooting muzzleloading percussion rifles. Successful completion of this program will qualify candidates as NRA Instructors for Co-op Muzzleloading Rifle,a requirement (along with an NRA Range Safety Officer) to conduct BSA Muzzleloading programs as well as function as a merit badge counselor for Rifle Shooting Merit Badge using the Muzzleloading option.

This will all be accomplished with a three day (one weekend) intense program which includes Basic Muzzleloading Rifle, Basic Instructor Training, and Instructor Muzzleloading Rifle.  A campsite is available and lunch will be provided each day.
